Shopping with Deb at Walgreens 5/10/11

Okay, so I went to Walgreens today to get some freebies and, of course, the soda.... Let's just start by saying, apparently today is load day at Walgreens here in Reno.  They were out of a few of the things that I went there for, but they were starting to put out more inventory while I was there.  So, if any of you wanted the Carefree liners, Newtons, or Gilette Fusion Razor, they should have them out later today.  I was lucky enough to find one Gilette razor over in the travel section... Hooray for lazy people that don't put things back where they belong!!

So, this is what I ended up doing.  I had two transactions so that I could take advantage of a BOGO sale and use my register rewards on the other transaction.  My first transaction went as followed:

 ...let me say this...... these are delicious!!  The Dark Fudge is already eaten... and by the way, there is a $0.50 coupon on the back of every bag.

Total: $80.45
Spent: $20.65 (before tax)

So, to sum this up... My total without coupons and sales on both of these transactions was $108.94 and my total OOP was $31.53 (before tax).  That's about a 71% savings.  Not bad for all that I got.
